Welcome to the Quantum Transport & Nanoelectronics group. We focus on the characterization of nano-scale materials with low-temperature scanning probe microscopy (LT-SPM) in combination with in-situ transport measurements. The high spatial resolution of SPM allows us not only to correlate the chemical structure of the material to its electronic properties but further to fabricate nano-scale integrated circuits. In particular, we are interested in the influence of small structural changes on the electromechanical properties of the material. These structural changes can be created with high precision by SPM manipulation.
