Electroluminescence and Photoluminescence Imaging of Perovskite Solar Cells
Electroluminescence (EL) and photoluminescence (PL) imaging are fast, easy to use and versatile techniques for the characterization of solar cells. With the advent of metal halide perovskites, researchers have been looking to employ these imaging techniques for this newly emerging solar cell technology. In this talk, I will review how luminescence imaging has been used to conduct both qualitative and quantitative analysis of solar cells in the past and look at the current state of the EL/PL imaging setup that I am currently building for the characterization of perovskite solar cells as part of my MPhys project.
