Master project available! You are a master student in physics, laser physics or engineering with interest in ultrafast lasers and THz radiation and look for a master project? Then this might be of interest to you: We currently offer a master project to set up a mid-infrared (MIR) light source to generate ultrashort phase-stable MIR pulses by difference frequency generation (DFG) with application in ultrafast scanning probe microscopy. The ideal candidate has good knowledge and strong interest in (ultrafast) laser physics and optics, brings a high level of motivation and is interested to work in a team. Interested to join our research? Contact Melanie.
We encourage exceptionally qualified candidates for postdoc or PhD positions to apply anytime. Candidates should have a strong background in at least one of the areas: ultrafast laser science, THz generation, scanning probe microscopy, atomic force microscopy, near-field microscopy, nanoplasmonics, pump-probe experiments.
