Master project on light-driven STM available! You are a master student in physics, laser physics, chemistry or engineering with interest in lasers, solid state physics, or surface science and look for a master project? Then this might be of interest to you: We currently offer a master project to study light-matter interaction in plasmonic junctions using laser-driven low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy. The ideal candidate has strong interest and basic knowledge in (ultrafast) laser physics and/or surface science and brings a high level of motivation and is interested to work in a small international team. Interested to join? Please contact Melanie.
We further encourage exceptionally qualified candidates for postdoc or PhD positions to apply anytime. Candidates should have a strong background in at least one of the areas: ultrafast laser science, THz science, scanning probe microscopy, quantum materials, atomic force microscopy, near-field microscopy, nanoplasmonics, pump-probe experiments.
